Description: Perseverance paid off! We finally hooked up with a musky this evening. Actually we boated 3 in about 1 hour. My brother Rob, caught all 3 of them. The first was a 45" fish on a DCG with gold blades and a gold skirt. The second came 7 or 8 casts later and was a 46" fish on the same bait. We had to cut one of the hooks so he then changed to a nickel blade and black skirt DCG. He thought he saw something splash towards shore so we moved in. Two casts later he had on a 39" fish. The first two came as the sun was setting and the 3rd came after it set. All 3 fish came off the same football field size area. We knew it could be good because of the front that was moving in on the area. I guess we were right. It always pays to watch the weather!
